About
Najd, summer 1985. It’s 12:40 and everyone is asleep through the midday heat. You wake up to find your little brother Fahad has gone outside and never came back. You head out into the empty neighborhood under a burning sun… and Humarat Al-Qayla follows you.
The legend
In the Gulf, children were warned never to go out at noon — a creature, half woman and half donkey, takes those who do. Now it’s your turn to face it.
The game calls your name
Type your name at the start: the hero becomes you, the dialogue calls you by name… and the creature whispers it.
Chapter one
Three stages: the lane and the square, the alleys where you hide as she mimics your mother’s voice, and the abandoned house of Abu Saleh.
